Donate to the Rescue
Over 250 homeless and abandoned animals each year find a new home through our rescue- could you help us?
At Alaska Bully Rescue our mission is to not only rescue and rehome bully breeds but also to continually be able to do community outreach. This comes in many forms, from helping spay/neuter dogs whose owners cannot afford it to helping dogs with medical emergencies who would otherwise die without our help. We often try to arrange payment plans with the owner so that they can keep their dog and also help the rescue recoup the cost of medical care. By doing so however our organization has to be able to pay for the medical expense up front. This can range from a few hundred dollars to several thousand dollars. It is our belief that no animal deserves to suffer because their owner is unable to pay for medical expenses. Unfortunately not everyone has the ability to plan and save for medical emergencies; our commitment is not to judge why the owner is unable to pay. Our commitment is to work with the veterinary providers and owners to get the dogs the care they need.
We also have ongoing expenses for dogs that are turned over to the rescue for vaccinations, spay/neuters, and any medical needs that must be addressed prior to adoption.
