Rescuing Bully Breeds Across Alaska
Alaska Bully Rescue was founded in January 2015.The Alaska Bully Rescue mission is to rescue and rehome abandoned or unwanted bully breed dogs into forever homes where they will be loved and cared for their entire life. In addition, we offer medical care to dogs at Anchorage Animal Control as their budget does not provide for extensive medical care.
It is also our goal to work within the state and local community to help stomp out breed discrimination and the negative stereotypes associated with bully breeds. We also work diligently to help spread the importance of spaying/neutering pets to help stop the rising number of unplanned and poorly cared for litters of puppies.
Dog of the Month
Esme has been patiently waiting for her forever home for a while now. She had some issues when we first got her but has spent several months with a trainer and has made major improvements. She does need to be an only animal in the home and with older kids above 12. She is an absolute lovers or people and is eager to please. She has been waiting so long and worked so hard to overcome her fears and be more well rounded. It is her time to find her forever family and a place to call home.
